Ilocandia's Queen City Rocked

by bhebotenchantress | Published: Sep 03, 2012

No earthquakes here but live music from five of the best bands of the country surely rocked San Fernando City last June 2, 2012 as Tanduay held its 6th annual rock festival. Rain and mud weren’t potent enough to stop many to troop at Brgy Biday’s wide open space near CSI. The weather wasn’t conducive but the performers’ line up was too enticing to forego. Rico Blanco, Wolfgang, Parokya ni Edgar, Urbandub and Kamikazee rocked live until the late hours. Each group’s set of songs made it all worthwhile to go home wet and dirty. If you haven’t been to a rock fest as this, I strongly suggest you watch out for next year’s schedule so that you’ll understand what I meant by that. Rock music can be really compelling, it proved to be so on that day as it turned the venue from mire into a picturesque of people having the kind of fun only live music can give. Kudos to the city police and the organizer’s security people, who were visibly present during the event, the problems associated with this type of affairs such as brawls and rumbles were not experienced at the concert ground. The security was pretty tight and the rock fest was an overall success. For more of the next big gigs in the city, stay fixed on our web and we’ll dish ‘em before and after the events. Rock on!
